1st Father's Day

HAPPY 1st FATHER'S DAY COREY!!!

The boys are growing like weeds (trust me I know this because we have had a LOT of weeds in the flowerbeds :) The are both over 8.5lbs as of their visit to the doctor on Monday. The are doing great. We are still working on more than 4 to 4 1/2 hours from feeding to feeding at night. Corey and I think Colt is ready to go around 5-7hrs, but Cage wakes up at no later than 4 every time. It's a process. I don't know if it's because Colt is sleeping so good at night, but he has decided to stop sleeping all together during his naps. I try to feed them every 3 to 3 1/2 hours during the day. They then get wake time and go down for 1 1/2 to 2 hours of nap time before they get fed again. He will lay there for about 20-30min wide awake and then start crying and not stop. I am praying it is just a phase. Cage sleeps right through it :)
A little update on me...Things went crazy with me physically, as most of you know, after I had the boys. I developed preeclampsia post pardom. My blood preasure was 187/119...NOT fun. Then my incision opened on the left side and drained...YUCK! Last but not least I have a very large hematoma that covers the area from below my belly button to the top of my incision and is as wide as my hand. It is keeping me from getting my waist back and from what the doctor tells me it will be a good while before I'll be back to normal :( It's a process and I understand that and would go through it all again and more for the two beautiful babies I have...even if one has been screaming for almost an hour as I'm typing this :)

They're here!!!

Randall "Cage" Jerry and Roger "Colt" Jerry arrived Monday, May 23rd at 5:23pm and 5:25pm (respectively). Cage weighed 5lbs 13oz and Colt weighed 5lbs 10oz. They are doing wonderfully and we are scheduled to go home from the hospital today around 6pm. I'm attaching one picture to this post because I am trying to get ready to go home. I will try to post again next week with several from our hospital stay and the first few days at home.

They'll be here on Monday!!!

Corey and I went to the doctor this morning and found out both babies are still breech....shocked I am not! And, to add to matters Cage (Baby A) has dropped really really LOW and is not going to be turning anytime soon. With that the time came to schedule a C-Section...Monday at 5pm.

We had hopes the boys would both be over 6lbs by next week, but it doesn't look that way. Cage is showing 5lbs4oz and Colt is showing 5lbs13oz. Still about a 1/2lb difference, but Colt will most likely be less than 6lbs. They only have to be 5lbs and me over 35weeks to not have to spend time in the NICU (of course that is without any unforeseen issues) which they are and I am.
Corey and I had the conversation on Sunday about how we really didn't think I would make it this far into May without having them. At least I was thinking that way up until the middle of April. After that I really felt I would keep them until term and I most likely would if they weren't breech.

We will have to be at the hospital at 3pm on Monday and the surgery will take place at 5pm. He told us this morning I will be there for 3days. I don't know if that means I will get to come home on Wed or Thur. I plan to go to the hospital and preregister tomorrow and I will find out. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. The only downside is I can't eat after 9am on Monday morning. That means a min of 8hrs with no food!!! And, who knows when they'll let me eat after I have the c-section it could be bad. Did someone miss the fact that I'm 8 1/2 months pregnant with twins and I'm Morgan and I LOVE to eat!?!?!? I want to cry just thinking about it. I can see it now...I get up early (on my last day to sleep in) just to have a bowl of cereal before 9am. By 12pm Corey will have me locked in the closet because I'll be so irritable and disagreeable as I starve :( Well, maybe it won't be that bad, but it could be :)

Corey still doesn't know the day and time we are having the boys. When we left the appointment this morning he told us it would be Monday or Tuesday at either 12pm or 5pm. I received the call with the final information after he had already gone to sleep for the day. I don't think 5:30pm is ever going to get here so I can wake him up and tell him :)

I plan on taking my laptop and/or iPad with me to the hospital and will try to get some pictures of the boys posted before we all come home and things are crazy. I'll find out tomorrow at preregistration what their policy is on such items and if they have WiFi.

Please keep us in your prayers and the members of our families as they all have to travel to be here except Brooke who lives in Texarkana.

37 Weeks Pregnant Picture......viewer discretion is advised HA HA HA

Well......You all have ask for it and here it is.....you might be sorry now that you have seen it :) This is 37weeks with Twins....amazing we have made it this far and will hopefully still make it another week or more if Cage turns head down :) Again, look for an update on Wed. Corey and I go at 8:45am to the doctor. A date will be set for the C-Section if Baby A (CAGE) is still breech. I don't know if we will find out at the appointment or if they will have to get everything set up with the hospital and call us back with a date and time. Again, Corey and I are going to shoot for Monday early. If I have your email I will be sending out an email as well as a text on Wed when we find out all the details.

Almost there....

Quick update...

I seem to have misplaced the sonogram from last week. I was going to upload it and post it...sorry about that.

All's going wonderfully well. I have reached 36 1/2 weeks with twins so there are no complaints.

We went to the doctor today. The boys are still both breech and it seems they want to stay that way. IF Baby A turns I will be allowed to go into labor on my own and could go as far as 40 weeks. Most likely they will not turn and next Wed will be our last doctors appointment. When we go we will discuss what day the following week, May 23 to May 27 to do a C-Section (IF they are still breech). Corey and I are hoping for 1st thing Monday morning, but we will wait and see. We will have another sonogram on Wed and I will post it plus the results of our meeting on Wed or Thur! See you then :)

Nursery Pictures...

Randy and Corey put the beds together today and hung the lights. Everything looks so wonderful. I like it all a lot better now that it is all together. (If you are wondering if you are seeing things because one bed looks like it's done in blue and the other green...you're not...the fabric's the same but the colors are different...we put pillows and a blanket of the opposite color on the beds so each bed has some of both colors) I still have to get all their clothes, they are folded and clean, off the guest bed and get them in the drawers. Along with some items in the closet that go in the drawers. We have a little fishing net to drape on a couple of items and a ship steering wheel on its way. After that the nursery is complete.

For those of you who are wondering...Yes! I cried. It was a bit overwhelming to walk into a room with two cribs...I still think I'm freaking out a little bit.

We go to the doctor tomorrow. Pray for us as we are getting closer and closer to the boys arrival. We are still breech-breech and I would like to have a vaginal birth if at all possible. For that to happen we really need Baby A to turn and stay head down. Pray I stay healthy. My feet have started to swell and for those of you who saw me Easter and today you know I'm not talking about a little puffiness...We are talking elephant disease big :)

I'll post again tomorrow after our doctor's visit.
