Sonogram 31wks 3days
Above is the sonogram we had done today. The boys are doing wonderful. Growing well with strong heartbeats. HOWEVER, Colt didn't follow directions and Cage just flat out rebelled. They are both breech! Cage flipped and Colt stayed right where he was. Colt's heart rate is 158bpm and Cage is 147bpm. Colt out weights Cage by only 4oz. Colt at 3lbs 13oz and Cage at 3lbs 9oz.l
I seem to be growing just as much as the boys, although I feel like I'm growing faster and bigger. I gained another 4 lbs (same as last three visits). I grew 2cm from 36 to 38. For those of you keeping up that puts me looking like I'm 8 1/2months pregnant and I am not quite 7 1/4 months pregnant.
The doctor did a swab on me to see if a protein is present that appears around two weeks before you go into labor. It comes from a fluid that covers the placentas. I assured the doctor I don't have the protein, I'm busy for the next several weeks :) He, also, checked to see if I am dilated at all (FYI: I didn't like that it hurt :( ) Luckily I am not. He again ask to see us in two weeks, which make me feel great since he was supposed to start seeing us every week over a month ago.
Corey and I are going tomorrow to have maternity pictures taken. He's excited about it. I'm a little nervous. I feel like a marshmallow :) We'll let everyone know how it turns out and even try to post some pics later on after we have them.

Non Baby News and Pics

Suzanne ended the evening in the most special way. Each of us was given a Bible verse that had been printed and hole punched on a ring. Karen began us in prayer and each person read their Bible verse, which had Cage & Colt's names added to it as a prayer and Suzanne closed it. It was so special and again showed me how amazingly blessed I am to have her in my life.

Short Update...
When we ask the doctor when he wanted to see us next he said two weeks. We were supposed to go to every week several weeks ago so I questioned him about it. He assured me we are doing great and he doesn't feel the time has come to see us every week!!! YEA :) Big smiles.
I didn't have a camera for the shower so Brooke and Mom took pictures. I will get their cameras, or one of them and post some pictures of the shower and the dinner. It was sooooooooo much fun :)

THANK YOU NATHANIEL....Sonogram Pics :)
Cage posing for the camera above
Colt hiding in my ribs!
I can't really tell, but this is the one with Colt's head right at Cage's rear...the position they still seem to be in after todays visit. Two week after this picture was taken.
For those of you who have read the previous blog entry you heard about me measuring 31cms. We went back to the doctor today only 2 weeks later and I measured 35cms. YES that's growth TWICE as much as a single pregnancy. Keep in mind that after 22weeks a belly should measure in cm even with weeks of pregnancy and I won't be 28 Weeks until MONDAY!!! AHHHHHH :) I'm HUGE!!!
Side note: We have finally orderd bedding! YEA!!! It's not what we really wanted, but we never did find the exact material to work with what we had in mind. It's really cute and going to be great, though. We are now trying to wrap our minds around how to decorate with a completely different color palet than we thought we'd go with. It's complicated or I'd explain it in detail. It's brown, tan, blue (two shades) and green (two shades). I'll send pics when I get some of the finished product in several weeks.

25 Weeks & 4 Days
As you can see they are very active. Especially the first one you see which is Cage "Baby A" He is currently Head down and good to go. Colt "Baby B" is feet down and head in my ribs, however, and not good to go. The doctor let us know they will continue to move (ie roll and flip, but they will not, most likely change positions Baby A & Baby B). Colt may get to head down before I go into labor and if not then he may flip while I deliver Cage. And, if not then the doctor will attempt to flip him. If there's still no success I will have Colt via a C-Section. YEA! I might get to experience both types of birth at once :(
Speaking of Cage and Colt it was brought to my attention. That I have never fully announced their names on my blog....so here they are...... Randall Cage Jerry & Roger Colt Jerry. Cage is named after his daddy and pop (Randall Corey Jerry & Randall "Randy" LaFavor Jerry). Colt is named after his papa (Roger Don Hooten).
Below is little picture of my belly. It's a blurry because of the lighting and I cropped it. I will attempt to get a better one up, but we still don't have a camera :) We're working on it though. As you can tell I don't look like someone who is 5 1/2 months pregnant (this pic was taken well over a week ago). I will be 6months on Monday and I measured 7 1/2 months at the doctor on Thursday :) WOW!!! That's HUGE!
